Where to go shopping in Florence: The Mall

When you say fashion, you say Italy and therefore you also say Tuscany, and if you are wondering where to go shopping in Florence, you can’t but think of The Mall, shopping outlet in the Tuscan countryside.

Not just an outlet, but a real luxury centre built in an elegant and refined architectural space in the town of Reggello: we are in the Valdarno’s area, just a little bit out of the city, but for fashion addicted, this is “Pleasure Island”! Just arrived at the car park you could not believe in your eyes looking at the list of brands of the various stores of Gucci, Valentino, Prada, Tod’ s, Ferragamo, Fendi and many other luxury brands distributed there.

The Mall is an unforgettable experience and not even walking on 5th Av in New York or Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, you will find all these wonderful marks, but above all – what is certain – is that you will not pay them 35 % less as it happens here. The outlet policy, which is introduced in every store in the centre, is precisely that of make discounted price almost half of the initial card, allowing customers to bring home real business. Be careful because it is true that you will find exclusive high fashion items from previous collections spending much less than the initial card, but the costs – it must be said – are still quite high, but never enough for those who are looking for excellence!

Couture line for women, men, child and then accessories of all kinds and therefore footwear, jewellery, cosmetics and perfumes: in this oasis immersed in the wonderful green of the Tuscan countryside, you will find everything and that is why every day, thousands of people come from all the world (especially from eastern origin), reaching The Mall for crazy shopping, perhaps at Giorgio Armani, or Burberry, Dior, Stella Mccartney or Alexander Mcqueen looking for extremely advantageous prices. An experience to do, especially if you are also Made in Italy lover, or in any way so passionate about fashion that you can get out of shops like Aquazzurra Jimmy Choo, La Perla, Givenchy or for example Marni, with the hands of many purchases made for yourself or, as many people do, for important gifts to do.

But how to reach this paradise?

The location is easily reachable from all cities by taking the exit of the A1 runway “Incisa-Reggello” south of Florence, but for those with no car, The Mall has created a direct line that about every 30 minutes, starting from Santa Maria Novella Station in Florence, brings you there with a bus spending 7 Euro (13 with return), or with convenient shuttles (leaving every 3 hours) but returning to the tourist at every point in Florence, at the cost of 15 euros per race.

Not only shopping at The Mall, but also the possibility of eat something in one of the various bars and dining options, or for example at the “Gucci café”, an elegant space with a large terrace green overlooking , with glamorous furniture and design on the roof of Gucci’s maxi store where you can stay for lunch tasting delicious meals and at affordable prices for all.

The Mall, perfect place where to go shopping in Florence, is so big and rich in store that maybe for someone it may be difficult to see everything at once, but surely the best days to go are those in the middle of the week, and if time isn’t enough, you can always come back again, The Mall is open every day of the year, from 10:00 to 20:00, except for the national holiday days.
