How to reach us

By car

ZTL: Beware!

AArriving by car, observe the following directions:
The center of Florence is a limited traffic zone (ZTL), whose entrance is regulated by 24 hours cameras. As a hotel, our guests are only entitled to 1 admission for the ARRIVAL and 1 admission for the DEPARTURE. Any other access to the ZTL is prohibited. In order to avoid fines, at the time of arrival, please inform the reception of your car nameplate and the time of entry in ZTL for notification of arrival to the municipal police. The same procedure must be followed at the time of departure. Our company declines any responsibility for any omissions or negligence.

If you use the Navigator we suggest to enter as final destination “Via Cavour” and follow our directions from that point.

Coming from Rome (south): Take Exit FIRENZE SUD motorway

Follow the directions “Viali di Circonvallazione ” until you arrive at Piazza della Libertà.
Turn in Via Cavour to the old TOWN and turn right at the first Street (Via Sant’Anna).
Turn right at the stop on Via San Gallo and then first left on Via delle Mantellate.
Turn first left into Via Zara and take the fourth Street on the left Via delle Ruote.
At the end of Via delle Ruote turn left onto Via San Gallo and after a few metres on the right you will find Antica Dimora Firenze at number 72 blue.

Coming from Milan (north): Take Exit FIRENZE NORD Highway

Follow the directions “Viali di Circonvallazione ” until you arrive at Piazza della Libertà.
Turn in Via Cavour to the old TOWN and turn right at the first Street (Via Sant’Anna).
Turn right at the stop on Via San Gallo and then first left on Via delle Mantellate.
Turn first left into Via Zara and take the fourth Street on the left Via delle Ruote.
At the end of Via delle Ruote turn left onto Via San Gallo and after a few metres on the right you will find Antica Dimora Firenze at number 72 blue.

Parking

Parking in the center of Florence is prohibited for “non-residents”. We do not have our own parking, but we have conventions with some of the nearby garages to guarantee every guest the service best suited to his needs.

For example, our guests can use the parking Garage with Valet Parking of Michelangelo Garage. Pick up and return of the car directly to the residence at the discounted price of 20.00 euros for 24 hours or parking Parterre to about 650 MT outside the ZTL at the rate of Euro 10.00 for the 24 hours, Euro 15 for the next, Euro 20.00 for the following.

By train

Antica Dimora Johlea is not far from the central station Santa Maria Novella and can be reached in 15-20 minutes on foot. The indications to follow are: Via Nazionale, Piazza Indipendenza, right on Via XXVII Aprile, left in Via San Gallo. The taxi can be taken at the main exit of the station at an indicative cost of Euro 13, 00-16.00.

By plane

Florence Peretola Airport, Amerigo Vespucci is 15 km away and about 20 minutes by car from us.
Upon exiting the airport, you can take the taxi at an indicative cost of Euro 25.00 or use the new T2 Tramway https://www.gestramvia.com/orari and reach the Santa Maria Novella train station in about 20 minutes.
